I believe that any tool in an arsenal that can be used to fuck shit up in a Unique way (which, in this case it certainly would be a unique device in contrast to the other fx plugs Live has), is a welcome addition.Īutotune Ableton 9 Mac DownloadSo yeah. How is the automatic result of that as opposed to cutting samples to tiny bits any different than a tonal pitch augmenting device compared to 'learning to sing' etc ? And still, learning to sing only covered a minuscule amount of what the potential of a tuning vst is capable of. I'm sure half of you have used a glitching or beat repeating device before. ![]() ![]() Second, who is entitled to say what the importance or usefulness of a musical effect is? That is just snobbery? If a guy likes moderate to excessive use of autotune for his productions, don't ride his ass about it. Either way, they are all similar, or, Live is different from those two. Live is similar to those yet offers the non-linear approach. Logic and GarageBand are similar in that they are both linear music production softwares with instrument and fx options. The argument of comparing Live to GarageBand and then to Logic is just silly. ![]()
